This 1-day, EAL Level 3 practical fire alarm practical installation course is delivered by our very own Guru Steve Pilfold (MISFM), with over 30 years experience in the fire protection industry.
Covering best practices for fire alarm installation in non-domestic premises, in accordance with BS 5839-1.
NOTE: No lunch will be provided. Please make sure you bring your own lunch or have plans to get something near your training centre.
This course is for anyone who has an interest in, passion for, or installs fire detection and fire alarm systems in non-domestic premises.
- Practical knowledge of installation
- 5 hours Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Certification.
Course Content
Installation of an addressable and non-addressable fire alarm system to BS 5839 Part 1;
- Cabling and cable testing, as per BS 7671;
- Installing and testing devices;
- Programming systems;
- Completing a full system test;
- Completing installation certification and as fitted drawings.
