Course Details
This 5-day, EAL level 3 fire detection and fire alarm systems training course is delivered by our very own Guru Steve Pilfold (MISFM), with over 30 years of experience in the fire protection industry.
Covering the BS 5839-1:2025 for fire detection and fire alarm systems in non-domestic premises.
NOTE: No lunch will be provided. Please make sure you bring your own lunch or have plans to get something near your training centre.
This course is ideal for anyone who has an interest in, passion for, or designs, installs, commissions and maintains fire detection and fire alarm systems in non-domestic premises.
Upon completing an open-book, multiple choice exam, you will gain an EAL Level 3 Award in the Requirements of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for Buildings - BS 5839-1:2025 (Exam Code: 610/5638/8)
You have to achieve 60% to pass. This exam is 100 minutes long.
This course is also BAFE SP 203-1 recognised and goes towards your ECS Card
