Elevation Fire Training is delighted to announce the appointment of Kirstien Wilson as Managing Director, with immediate effect.
Kirstien brings more than 30 years of experience in education and training. She began her career within the training department of the Sheffield steel industry before moving into further education, where she developed extensive skills, knowledge and leadership experience. In 2011, she transitioned into the private education sector and has since built an impressive track record, culminating in her appointment to lead Elevation Academy and its Fire Training division (Elevation Fire Training).
As an organisation, we remain committed to our ambition of becoming a leading provider of apprenticeships within the construction sector, while continuing to expand our portfolio through a range of funding streams to include bootcamps, experienced worker assessments (EWA), study and technical programmes and adult skills courses. As our academy continues to grow, so does our range of courses, including health and safety training, fire safety, electrical safety awareness, environmental awareness and green skills, cyber security, fire door detection, fire risk assessment, emergency lighting and other industry-recognised programmes designed to meet the evolving needs of employers and learners. We are also investing in innovative online learning solutions to make high-quality training more accessible and flexible.
With Kirstien leading the Academy, I am confident that delivering outstanding education and exceptional learner outcomes will remain at the heart of everything we do. Her passion, experience and leadership will help guide the Academy through its next exciting phase of growth and development.
